The MBBS course is offered at KMC, Manipal and KMC, Mangalore. Its duration is four and a half years plus one year of compulsory rotating internship course.
This is recognised by the General Medical Council of Great Britain and the Malaysian Medical Council.

Qualification: Pass in 10+2, A level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together.
General Category: Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2016.
Note: Only candidates who have secured minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2016 will be considered for admissions.
Foreign/NRI Category: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination
1:Candidates can apply both under General and Foreign/NRI category. Change of category from Foreign/NRI to General after admission will not be entertained under any circumstances.
2: Candidates with foreign qualifications will have to obtain the ‘Equivalence Certificate’ from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi who will equate their qualifications as equivalent to the 10+2 of India. This certificate will have to be submitted at the time of counseling. Students who have taken CBSE or ISCE or any other Indian Board Qualifications need not submit the certificate.
